The process has a few options & steps. Here’s the summary.

Step 1. We Digitize your original Print, Slide or Negative.
Step 2 (Optional) We Restore the digital image, making it look almost like new.
Step 3a. We Print a new photo, any size.
AND/OR
Step 3b. We deliver a high resolution Digital file.

We can reproduce almost any Print, Slide or Negative - no matter the age size or condition. Our experience & equipment allows us to deliver the best possible copy of your original photo. We can digitize your Print, Slide or Negative as-is, creating a fresh copy of the image in it’s current state. If your print is torn, creased, faded or otherwise damaged, consider our photo restoration service. Whether you opt for restoration or not, we can create a new print - larger, smaller or same size on real photo paper. We can also deliver a digital .jpg file picture file on a Disk, USB Flash Drive, email attachment or Dropbox link.

Your memories are safe with us, all of our work is done right here in our lab in Kilmarnock. Trying to scan photos at home on a professional level is not fast, easy or cheap for the average consumer. We’ve had clients scan photos at home and spend many hours, only to find out that the settings they used have made the photo too low of a quality to print. Please don’t be fooled by at-home photo preservation gimmicks. These are your memories, your future generations will be appreciative that someone today took the time and money to create copies for them.

We cannot copy professional photos. Federal Copyright laws prevent professional images from being copied. If you have a professional image, we require a written release from the photographer.

Digitize your small original Print (8x10 & smaller)

  • 1 - 49 original Prints - 99¢ each ($3 Minimum Charge)

  • 50 or more for original Prints - 75¢ each

Digitize a Large original Print (Anything Larger Than 8x10)

  • $4.99 each

Digitize your original 35mm Slide or 35mm Negative: $.75 each

  • 1 original 35mm Slide or Negative - $2 each

  • 2 original 35mm Slides or Negatives - $1.25 each

  • 5 to 49 original 35mm Slides or Negatives - $1 each

  • 50 or more original 35mm Slides or Negatives - 75¢ each

Digitize your original Negative & Slide that are not 35mm: $1.25 each

Pricing Example
You have one 5x7 print, one 8x10 print, and one 4x6 print. You want them all copied and printed as 4x6’s.
This is your breakdown…
Three Originals at 99 cents each = about $3
Three new 4x6 Prints at 35 cents each = about $1.50

Preparing Your Prints, Slides & Film

Organize your memories

  • We handle all types of Prints, Slides and Negatives of any age, size and condition.

  • If you want your work digitized in a specific order, please number them accordingly.

  • Film can be in sleeves, or loose.

  • We print on either matte or glossy Fuji Crystal Archive Paper.

  • Additional fees may apply for un-packaging old photos, such as unframing and re-framing prints and removing photos from albums.

Consider a DVD slide-show

  • For an additional cost, make them into a slideshow, playable on your home DVD player. This is perfect for showing old photos at a reunion or gathering. Set to music these slideshows can be copied for other family to enjoy at home.
